Bihar: Patna AIIMS doctor, 20 staff including nurses infected with corona

A doctor of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Patna, three physiotherapists, nurses and 20 staff working in the administrative building have been infected by corona. Due to this, AIIMS administrative building will be closed on Saturday and Sunday.

According to the information received, the building will be sanitized in these days. Let me tell you that a retired infected IAS was admitted on Friday. Apart from these, there are 55 new infected recruits in AIIMS. At the same time, three corona infected have died.

Among the three infected that were die, an 11-year-old girl Alina Khatoon from Phulwarisharif. Alina, a resident of Lalamian's Dargah, is the first patient of Phulwari Sharif who is die from corona. This girl was admitted on 16 July. At the same time, 64-year-old Kantlal Yadav of Katihar was died from corona. He was admitted on 9 July. And 73-year-old Arun Kumar Mishra of Begusarai was also die. He was admitted on 10 July. However the good thing is that 26 patients from AIIMS were discharged on Friday.

55 newly infected

A total of 55 new patients have been admitted, including a doctor at Bagaha Primary Health Center in Patna AIIMS. These include 40 patients from Patna. Of these 40 patients of Patna, 7 of Danapur, 4 of Phulwarisharif, 3 of Exhibition Road, 2 of Kadamkuan, Shivpuri, Kankarbagh, Pataliputra Colony and Sadaqat Ashram. one patient each of Journalnagar, Bankipur, R Block, Khagal, SK Puri, Athmalgola, Gurdnibag, Shastri Nagar, Bikram, Ashek Rajpath, Rajendranagar and Aashiyananagar.

26 patients discharged

In other districts, 3 from Munger, 2 from Gaitmanagar and Sitamarhi in Uttar Pradesh, one each from Ranchi, Hajipur, Saran, P. Champaran, East Champaran, Muzaffarpur, Nalanda and Jehanabad. Of the 26 discharges on Friday. They include 19 patients from Patna, 3 from Darbhanga, one each from Rahetas, Siwan, Jehanabad and P. Champaran. Here, nodal officer Dr. Sanjeev Kumar said that at present 284 patients are being treated in AIIMS. 26 have been discharged while three have been wiped out.
